As we approach Halloween, let us come together to hear stories about Women of Power and Magic.
Storytelling magically transports you to other places and times, real
and imagined. Storytellers speak truths that cannot quite be told in
other ways. Discover the truths beheld in the power and magic of the
stories of Coral Conant Gilles, Erin Johnston, Elizabeth Matson, and
Sarah Beth Nelson

November 15, Noon-8:00 p.m. EST
8 states are participating, and, by random draw, Michigan has landed the
noon to 1:00 pm Eastern or 1:00 to 2:00 pm Central slot. We are looking
for 5 tellers from Michigan, who each will have 8 minutes to share a
story with friends, family, and colleagues across the North Central
Region between noon and 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 15. (Yes, we’re
serious about the time limit). Places on the line-up will be strictly
first come first served. We are producing this as a voluntary community
sharing event – no one will be paid. Are you not an NSN member? That’s
OK – if there are slots available, we want to celebrate Michigan stories
and storytellers with everyone! If you’d like to tell, please send an
email to
Jennifer.Pahl.Otto@gmail.com.
Deadline to sign up is November 1.This will be a free Zoom event with a
maximum of 100 people at any one time. Audience members and tellers can
come and go as long as there is room. Everyone participating, including
tellers, MUST register here:

While this is a free event, we are asking those who attend to please
make a voluntary donation to the National Storytelling Network. Did you
know that TellabrationTM was originally designed as a fundraiser for the
NSN? You can donate here:
